WELCOME TO CHARLES ROBERTS MEDIATION

MY MISSION  is to provide effective and efficient mediation services to assist parties in resolving their disputes without resort to costly and time-consuming litigation.

MY VISION  is to use my varied life experiences, my extensive experience as a trial attorney and my hands on experience as a trial judge to educate parties about the benefits of making informed decisions in their own best interest that results in settlement of a case pre-suit or if in suit, prior to an expensive trial.

MY GOAL  in every case is to provide a neutral and confidential setting in which the parties can truly express their perspective in the case, and are encouraged to listen to the opposing party’s perspective.  The desired result is a full and fair settlement of each case. If that cannot be achieved, then a partial settlement which significantly narrows the issues is a desirable result. In those rare cases in which no agreement can be reached, the parties go away educated as to the pros and cons as well as the potential costs in time and money of continued litigation.

MY PHILOSOPHY  is that all mediations are successful. Most cases settle at or within thirty days of an effective mediation. In those mediations in which the parties do not reach a full or partial settlement, the parties at the very least understand the issues to be resolved, the effort that will be required to litigate the case, and the time frame for a resolution to the case through trial of the issues.
